Which book to movie adaptations are you looking forward to seeing?
So many of these I haven’t even heard of, and so many I’ve yet to read before they come out! Getting so excited for the HP movie! R xx
Me tooooo!
Comic book adaptations leave me far more satisfied than other adaptations. I think they have more freedom to play with the stories while not as obviously leaving things out or changing details.
Completely agree! Comic book adaptations can pretty much just say “We’re setting this in the DC/Marvel universe, but it’s our own story” and everyone is like – okay, cool.
I’ve never seen anything Deadpool focused, so far (like a comic or cartoon), but I have seen references to him so often that I’m curious about the movie. He seems like a bit of a foul-mouthed disaster, the sort of thing that’s both terrifying and funny.
Well, Deadpool is called “The Merc with a Mouth” so calling him “a foul-mouthed disaster” is pretty spot on. 🙂
Miss Peregrine’s Home and The 5th Wave both made my list as well. I am so excited for both of them! I am also kind of intrigued to see how they handle A Monster Calls. That was a very emotional book and a very good one.
Agreed on A Monster Calls. I’m nervous but hopeful.
I didn’t know they were make P&P and Zombies! That is bound to be a hoot, can’t wait! My TTT
The poster looks terrifying and amazing.
Omg! How did I not think of the comic adaptations?! Deadpool and Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad. GAH!
RIGHT?! I want ALL the comic book adaptations right now!
Fantastic Beasts made my list too. The pictures from the set look fabulous! And I love a good Batman movie. I will see that one for sure. Mrs. Peregrine sounds interesting…I need to look into that book.

I just want to see all the pictures of Eddie Redmayne on the Fantastic Beasts set.
Statistical Probability should be so cute! I read that book in one sitting. I’m excited for a lot of the same movies. Hopefully they’re done well!
I’m looking forward to the cute rom-com that will be Statistical Probability. 🙂
I really hope they do a great job of adapting A Monster Calls because I loved the book! And I think The Statistical Probability will make a fun movie.
SAME! I LOVED A Monster Calls so much, so I’m kind of nervous about it.
I never thought to include comic book adaptions. Great list.
