Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. Today’s theme was:
Top Ten Debut Authors Who Have Me Looking Forward To Their Sophomore Novel (because when you love a debut you just are ITCHING to get your hands on the author’s second book) or Top Ten Sophomore Novels That I Loved Just As Much If Not More As The Author’s Debut (no one hit wonders heeeere!)
This was one of the easiest Top Ten Tuesdays in a while. I doubt many of you will be surprised by anyone on my list. I’m very vocal about my favorites. All author names linked to Twitter.
THE BECKMINDAVERA – Becky Albertalli // David Arnold // Jasmine Warga // Adam Silvera
Renee Ahdieh // Nicola Yoon // Stephanie Oakes
I.W. Gregorio // Francesca Zappia // Stephen Chbosky
Which debuts have you excited for their sophomore novel?
Awesome list! Adam Silvera, Stephanie Oakes and Francesca Zappia all made my list as well. I loved those books! Here is my top ten list: http://bookbinges.blogspot.com/2015/11/top-ten-tuesday-top-debut-authors-that.html
I LOVED their debuts, and I can’t wait to see where they go next.
I didn’t realize that Mosquitoland was a debut! It’s been on my wish list, but I haven’t taken the plunge, yet. I’ve had Made You Up on my Kindle since release. I was just thinking about that one yesterday and thinking I should bump it up soon. I didn’t know it was a debut, either.
You should bump up both of them!! 🙂 Mosquitoland doesn’t read like a debut AT ALL. It’s fantastic.
I definitely can’t wait to see another novel by David Arnold! 🙂
RIGHT? Like, I need it right now, please and thank you.
We NEED the sequel to The Wrath and the Dawn! I cannot wait until it is released!
Thanks for sharing your list.
Amanda
YES PLEASE WE NEED IT RIGHT NOW!
Great list! Becky Albertalli and Nicola Yoon made my list this week, too. 🙂
I saw None of the Above at a book festival, thought it looked interesting, but didn’t buy it. I did get Simon vs … though. I’m looking forward to reading it.
Are lists are so similar this week! Not surprising though because you have great taste 🙂 My TTT
OMG! If Stephen Chbosky wrote another novel, I would be over the moon! I love The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
