BookBlogWriMo: Where I Blog

bookblogwrimo

Today is day five of BookBlogWriMo. The topic is “Where You Blog.”

I’m really rather boring when it comes to this topic. I blog on my laptop while curled up in the corner of my couch. My laptop is my favorite place to blog, as I am not a fan of blogging on my phone (though I do answer comments from my phone if I’m at work or out and about).

Sometimes if I’m tired of being at home or can’t concentrate or any number of reasons, I’ll take my laptop, books, and notebook with book notes to a local café for a cup of coffee, a scone, and free wifi. Or to the local library, though I end up just looking at books instead of working.

But overall, my favorite spot is my couch with a cup of coffee, my laptop, and some show (TWD, Gotham, Arrow, Project Runway) on in the background. Bet you weren’t expecting Project Runway, were you? Haha.

So what about you? Where do you blog?

  2. I blog in a variety of places. I’m about as mobile as you get. I could be on top of a pass on the Rocky Mountains blogging from the observation deck of a train, on my phone in my car, on my laptop at the lake or in my cabin, on my phone on a run in the woods, on my laptop at a cafe, in the passenger seat on any device, occasionally on the subway or train in NY, sitting in a pizza joint, or a Starbucks, on my phone at the beach, in an airplane or airport, and just about any other place I have been. I find I like to write about my runs immediately after I finish them if I want my blog to be consistent, the sooner after I complete a project the more likely I am to post about it if I get my words down. Right now my obstacle is figuring out Apples new handoff where Notes just used to upload from my phone to my computer and back…
