I also read Attachments this year. It was my second Rainbow Rowell book. I really enjoyed it. I still need to read Anna and the French Kiss. I have heard wonderful things about this series! And I have been wanting to read the Gone series.
Great list!
Which other Rainbow Rowell book did you read? Did you like it? I want to try her others.
Ahhh. I loved Anna. I would definitely recommend it. It’s such a great summer read: light, sweet, and adorable.
Awesome list, so many of these are on my TBR! Attachments is amazing, and I adore Anna and the French Kiss/Lola and the Boy Next Door – I’m sooooooo excited for Isla!
🙂 I need it to be August already so that I can have Isla! I read and reviewed the five chapter sneak peek from NetGalley recently, but I need the whole book!
Thanks for stopping by!

Since You’ve Been Gone was fantastic. I really enjoyed it.
Thanks for stopping by my TTT! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my TTT yesterday! I’m glad to see The Raven Boys and Rainbow Rowell have made your list! I think those are good picks!
Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know
I loved The Raven Boys, and I really need to check out Rainbow Rowell’s other books. I enjoyed Attachments quite a bit.
Thanks for coming to check out mine! 🙂
I listened to The Maze Runner a couple years ago. The narrator was a maze ing!
Jenna
Haha. Punny. 🙂
I don’t usually do audio books, but maybe I should check it out…?
I got it from the library on CD for a long road trip
Cool. I’ll have to see if my local library has it. 🙂
I love the whole story of the Bling Ring and I’ve had the book on my to-read shelf forever. Did you like it?
I really liked the book. Not so much with the movie. The book is cool because it comments on our society and gives a lot of interesting anecdotes about our obsession with fame and celebrity. Lots of fascinating statistics. I would highly recommend it.
I really, really want to read Since You’ve Been Gone so it’s fantastic to see pretty much everyone is loving it 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my TTT
It’s wonderful! I can’t wait to read Matson’s other books now.
Thanks for stopping by mine! 🙂
You have so many books on here that I want to read such as Anna and the French Kiss, It’s kind of a funny story and The Maze Runner. Hopefully I can get to the them soon
I would highly recommend all of them. It’s Kind of a Funny Story is actually the only 10 I’ve given to a book so far on my blog. It’s very good.
Thanks for stopping by!
If I hadn’t gotten off from work so late today I would be reading Love Letters to the Dead right now. Unfortunately, the library was closed when I left work, so my poor reserved book must languish on the shelves until I can get my hands on it tomorrow. The Maze Runner is already in my modest *cough* 20 book high *cough* pile of books I have from the library already. 😉
Looking forward to hearing what you think of those two. They are amazing. TMR is the push I needed to start my blog. I loved it so much I had to tell everyone about it. 🙂
Some of my favorite novels are on this list and some I’m looking forward to reading. Really looking forward to Love Letters to the Dead.
Oh, goodness. I loved that book. LOVED it. 🙂
Stephanie Perkins and Rainbow Rowell write cute and funny books that I can devour like chocolate. I still have to read Raven Boys–it’s been on my list for a while, and keeps getting bumped down for newer books. I’ll get there!
Exactly: they’re books are like chocolate. What a perfect description!
It’s SO good! I really loved The Raven Boys!
Attachments is in my TTT too! And I love Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Have heard good things about The Maze Runner – it’s on my TBR list 🙂 Here’s my TTT, l would really appreciate it if you checked it out! 🙂
You should definitely read TMR! It’s amazing, and the movie comes out in a few months!!
Of course I’ll check yours out. Thanks for stopping by and for the follow!
You’re the second person today who’s recommended the Maze Runner in one way or another – guess it’s a sign to put it on my list! And I read It’s Kind of a Funny Story last year and loved it! It was so sad when Ned Vizzini died…:(
You should definitely read TMR. It’s amazing. And the movie comes out this year!
So sad when he died. It was horrible. 😦 I feel so bad for his family.
OOh, I love The Maze Runner and Gone. Both excellent choices for your TTT! My TTT
I LOVED them! 🙂 Heading over to check out yours.
I share your Maggie Stiefvater love, such good books! And Stephanie Perkins can do no wrong for me. I haven’t read Attachments yet, but i’m really looking forward to it!
I agree with both of those statements. 🙂
Attachments is wonderful. Looking forward to your thoughts.
So many favorites on this list: Stephanie Perkins, Rainbow Rowell, Maggie Stiefvater. Also a lot of books on my TBR list. Great job picking fantastic books to read this year!
🙂 I think I’ve been pretty lucky with my book choices so far this year. I’ve had a few that I didn’t like (Dorothy Must Die, If I Stay, etc) but for the most part, I’ve done well. Lol.
Thanks for stopping by, Alison!
Oh no, I just bought Dorothy Must Die!
Well, you might end up enjoying it! I’ve read a lot of good reviews of it, so you never know. If you want, you can read my review of it to see what I didn’t like.
Thanks!
Such a great list! Almost every single one is on my TBR list! Also, I completely forgot about the bling ring but now I want to see/read it (did you see the movie? If so, what did you think?)
I did see the movie. I wasn’t it’s biggest fan. In fact, when I was watching it (at the Edinburgh International Film Festival) last year, several people walked out. I stayed, but it wasn’t my favorite. I liked the book a whole lot more. It was fascinating. I think I might have to try the movie again now that I understand these kids a little more.
I had no idea that the Bling Rig was a book! I saw the movie recently and now I am interested in how the book compares!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I thought the book was brilliant. It is non-fiction, just so you know. It’s got a lot of really great anecdotes about our society and it’s obsession with fame and celebrities. There are a lot of interesting statistics and I thought it was fascinating. I would definitely be interested in hearing what you thought!
Attachments and The Raven Boys made my list as well this week. So many books you have posted are on my TBR list and it’s wonderful to see that so many people have enjoyed them. It makes me want to read them even more!
I loved Attachments and The Raven Boys. They are both brilliant in their own way. 🙂
Which books are on your TBR? I agree: I love seeing books I want to read on other people’s lists! It makes me even more excited to read them!
It’s Kind of a Funny Story and Anna and the French Kiss/Lola and the Boy Next Door are all on my TBR 🙂
Oh, goodness. Anna and Lola are so adorable and sweet and lovely. I’d definitely be interested to hear what you thought of them.
Also, It’s Kind of a Funny Story is one of the best books I have ever read. You should definitely check it out. I LOVED it.
ANNA and LOLA! YES!
Our Ten Top Tuesday!
RIGHT? Love them. If you’re interested, you can check out my review of the sneak peek of Isla HERE. I need it to be August NOW. 🙂
Heading over to check out your TTT. Thanks for stopping by mine!
Hurray for Stephanie Perkin’s books! And I agree, Lola and the Boy Next Door is so much better than Anna and the French Kiss. *high fives* I think I should go read Maze Runner soon before the movie comes out! 😀
I definitely enjoyed Lola more than Anna. I liked Cricket as a love interest a lot more than St. Clair. I posted my review of the sneak peek of Isla yesterday, which you can read HERE if you’re interested. I can’t wait to read the whole book.
AHHH. The Maze Runner is amazing. You should definitely read it!
I read The Bling Ring last year just before the movie came out! Did you do a review of it? Would love to hear what you thought of it.
I read it after I’d seen the movie (which I didn’t like), but I really enjoyed the book. No, I didn’t do a review of it. I read it before I started my blog, but I thought it was really good. I don’t usually read non-fiction, but I was fascinated by the book. It had a lot of really interesting anecdotes on our society and our obsession with fame and celebrities. I read it in one sitting. I liked Sales’ writing, as well.
What did you think?
I too, rarely read non-fiction and thought it was different to what I normally read and was also very shocking which let me enjoy it even more. The statistics popping up in this book about fame obsessed kids, and what reality tv shows are doing to to kids and how narcissistic they’ve (the people in the book) become are shocking! Downside? I was hoping for there to be justice in the end and I was super disappointed at what they ended up receiving, but that’s not the books fault, that’s reality’s fault!
I also enjoyed the film but I am Emma Watson bias xD
I was really shocked as well by what happened to those kids. It was crazy. I think that the fact the book was so different to what I usually read and the inclusion of all the proven facts/statistics is what made me enjoy the book so much, just like you.
I, too, was hoping for justice, but that’s our society for you: (in)famous people always get off easier than “normal” people.
I love Emma Watson, and I will literally watch anything she does, but I just didn’t enjoy this movie. However, now that I’ve read the book and have a better understanding of those kids, maybe I should try again?
Maybe? Can’t hurt to try and watch it again can it? Because you’ve already seen it, if you get 15/20 minutes in and feel like you opinion won’t change, no harm in turning it off =]
Exactly. Good suggestion. I’ll let you know if I watch again and what I think. 🙂
O thank you! =]
I loooved the Maze Runner too, and the rest of the series! I can’t wait to see the movie! 🙂
Also, I really want to read Since You’ve Been Gone
RIGHT?! Is it September yet? I cannot wait for the movie!
I loved SYBG. I was actually a little surprised by how much I like it because it was raved about in the blogging community and sometimes I just don’t agree or it makes my expectations too high. But I loved it.
Big surprise – Attachments made my list too. 😀
I’ve got The Maze Runner on my Summer TBR. I’m looking forward to it!
Haha. Yay! I’m really glad I was able to convince you to read it!
Oooo. TMR is AMAAAAZING! I can’t wait to hear what you think of it!!
